The disk space requirements are determined by size of stored digital images. Thus the space requirements vary, but a rough estimate is in the order of 9 MB per 2D image, depending on type of image, and between 50 MB to 1 GB per 3D image depending on the volume size and resolution.

It is recommended to use the same server computer as an application server and database server. If Planmeca Romexis® server computer is also used for client activities, the hardware should meet both client and server specifications and for 2D imaging minimum 6 GB RAM should be installed.

Wymagania dotyczące połączenia z Internetem Niezbędne jest stabilne połączenie internetowe. W przypadku obrazów 2D wymagana jest prędkość wysyłania i pobierania wynosząca nie mniej niż 10 Mb/s, natomiast w przypadku obrazów 3D zalecane jest połączenie o prędkości 100 Mb/s lub wyższej.

Połączenie VPN nie jest wymagane, co upraszcza konfigurację i sposób korzystania z usługi.
