The platform provides everything from quick overviews to minute-by-minute breakdowns of equipment usage. Available for both new and existing Planmeca devices, it enables users to explore historical data to better understand workflows, enhance operative planning, and improve training and decision-making. Immediate issue notifications allow for both predictive and proactive maintenance, helping to minimise device downtime.
Automated alerts can be configured to notify the right personnel when a device encounters an issue or requires attention. This ensures that maintenance can be scheduled efficiently and problems can be addressed before they escalate. For deeper insights, device logs are available for detailed operational analysis, supporting a more informed and proactive approach to equipment care.
With access to extensive device data, clinics can verify that equipment is maintained according to best practices and usage agreements. The platform also provides valuable insights into how and when devices are being used, enabling smarter decisions and more efficient workflows. Data comparisons across multiple locations support improved clinic management, while customisable user roles and dashboards ensure that each team member sees the most relevant information for their role.
Connectivity is seamless thanks to the Planmeca ConBo™ companion device, which ensures a secure link to the cloud without requiring modifications to existing equipment. The plug-and-play connector supports multiple devices and operates independently of the clinic’s network using a global SIM card. The browser-based platform allows users to access their Insights dashboards anytime, anywhere.
