Planmeca Viso® G7®
The pinnacle of head and neck imaging
Planmeca Viso® G7 is the most capable of our flagship Planmeca Viso® CBCT imaging devices. Bolstered by cutting-edge technology, the latest innovations from Planmeca R&D, and an FOV that goes up to 30 x 30 cm, it is a future-proof 3D imaging device which easily meets even the most demanding clinical needs, from general dentistry to implantology, endodontics, orthodontics, as well as oral and maxillofacial surgery.
All imaging programs
Planmeca Viso G7 comes with a full range of imaging programs, from 3D dental and ENT programs to panoramic imaging as well as cephalometry. The device enables imaging everything from a single tooth to a full skull.
Intelligent software and tools
The state-of-the-art 3D unit is further complemented by the many intelligent tools of the Planmeca Romexis® all-in-one dental software. The comprehensive imaging system is also powered by proprietary Planmeca imaging tools, such as the Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ protocol and Planmeca CALM® motion artefact correction.

Innovative and intuitive positioning
Patient positioning is done directly from the unit’s control panel utilising integrated cameras and a live patient view, which allows seeing the patient live from the control panel for flexible and exact FOV alignment. The volume size can also be adjusted freely. At the same time, the open construction and design further facilitate user-patient interaction by allowing the patient to always face the user.
Adaptable patient support
The X-ray unit’s revolutionary rear head and neck support provides stability without compromising patient comfort. The clever support design of Planmeca Viso G7 does not cover the patient’s ears in a 3D face photograph and can also be used without the chin cup thanks to Planmeca CALM.
Consistently great images
Take full advantage of the 120 kV tube voltage, which enables consistently high-quality images of even more challenging cases. The larger voltage both reduces artefacts and enables higher contrast images.
Cutting-edge endodontic imaging
Noise is often inherent to endodontic imaging due to the high resolution required to capture small details. Planmeca’s endodontic 75 μm imaging mode combined with AI-based Planmeca NOA™ noise optimisation combats this issue for clear and smooth CBCT images that are perfect for endodontics.
Effective cephalostat
The Planmeca ProCeph™ one-shot cephalostat adds still more capabilities to your CBCT machine, offering quality images for cephalometric analyses and orthodontic treatment planning. Thanks to its quick exposure times, the patient has less time to move during the imaging procedure, reducing the need for retakes due to patient movement.

Detailed Planmeca ProFace® photos
Planmeca Viso G7 comes with a unique way of capturing face photos with the Planmeca ProFace® option. The sensor of the unit has four built-in cameras and LED light strips for capturing highly detailed 3D photographs. These can be combined with intraoral scans and CBCT images of your patient to enrich 3D treatment plans with a virtual patient.
